Megan Veliuona

Coach Megan is a graduate of Centennial High School here in Howard County where she played both field hockey and lacrosse.  She was selected to the All-County lacrosse team both her junior and senior year. After high school, Coach Megan attended Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA where she was a four year starter for the Diplomats women’s lacrosse team.  Her team attended the NCAA tournament three out of her four years at F&M. However, the highlight of her lacrosse career at Franklin and Marshall was playing in the 1993 NCAA Final Four tournament at University of Maryland. Coach Megan has been involved as a youth coach for the past 5 years in the Howard County Lacrosse program, the last 2 as a coach with the 2024 team continuing her involvement in the HoCo girls lacrosse club. Nominated to the HCLP Board in June 2016, Coach Megan sits as the acting Girl's West VP.
